The Keel

The re-modelling and conversion of the former HMRC offices on Queens Dock, Liverpool into 240 high quality waterside apartments. The remodelled building comprises a mixture of studio, one, two and three bedroomed apartments.

The engineering infrastructure and installations have been completely modified, upgraded and replaced to suit the new building use and layout and to afford independent servicing and metering of each individual dwelling.

Due to limitations on creating new penetrations in the external façade of the building, all local ventilation systems for apartments are grouped into internal central systems. The facility has recently been completed and the design team has been retained for appointment by the development company in connection with the second phase of work on the site which includes the construction of new apartments located adjacent to the Keel.
