St Lukes’ Theatre

The remodelling of the existing Church of St Luke’s into a new Performance Theatre. The existing building is Grade II listed, constructed in 1865 and the works include the conversion of the Church into a modern theatre capable of hosting a capacity of up to 300 people and includes all associated facilities including public bar, changing areas and the like.

Particular attention has been given to how the ventilation system could be integrated within the proposed development responding to the constraints imposed by the building’s listed status. Attention was also given to developing a low energy solution to limit carbon output and subsequent costs in use.
