Ernest Griffiths is an independent partnership specialising exclusively in the Design of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services. Founded in 1924, it was one of the first M&E consulting engineering practices in the country. The firm was founded with the objective of bringing a higher calibre of engineering to the field of building services than was generally available. We have never deviated from that objective, and the prosperity of the firm for over three quarters of a century has relied on our continuing determination to provide the quality of engineering appropriate to the architectural aspirations for the buildings. The firm today has offices in Bath, Leeds, London and the Wirral, which enables close support to projects across the country. As may be expected, Ernest Griffiths’ expertise covers the full range of mechanical and electrical services across most sectors. In addition to the Design of engineering services, the firm can offer a range of Services dedicated to the Cost Management and Project Management of engineering services installations. These can be commissioned independently or can be integrated within the normal range of Design orientated Services. A key feature throughout the years has been repeat business and recommendations to others, from clients, project managers and architects. The majority of our work comes to us this way; we do no active “marketing”. This, we consider is largely attributable to the policy of the firm which has remained consistent at all times: Our Policy Through the active involvement of the Partners in the design of our projects, and the employment and retention of qualified and experienced Engineers, we strive to maintain the highest of technical standards, value for money, and attention to detail in design. |
