Oliver Lodge Optical Laboratory

Refurbishment of a floor of this experimental building to house a new Optical Laboratory, including exacting requirements for temperature control of both the space and the individual items of equipment, and extract ventilation systems for life safety. Due to the use of laser beams within the laboratory, all doors and windows are interlocked with laser lamp controls for sight preservation.
